In this week's episode, we're just rolling around in some of our favorite actors to watch: you've got Karen Black, Oliver Reed, Bette Davis, and Burgess Meredith (kinda) in the 1976 creepy film "Burnt Offerings." Special topics for your consideration include: subpar movie punks, parenting choices one ought not to make, beefcake cops, whatever movie Michael Moriarty thinks he is in, a boat filled with bodies crashing into a marina and the kindness of the Cuban people.

We covered "It's Alive" last week in Episode 376. You may also like the Larry Cohen film "The Stuff," featured in Episode 180. Apparently he also made a movie called "God Made Me Do It" about a half-man/half-alien cult leader so I guess I know what I'm watching tonight!

KILLER BABIES! All killer baby movies are, on some level, pretty batshit. This one takes the cake. We're discussing the 1974 film "It's Alive!" and it is a wild ride. Special topics for your consideration include: a film written from the perspective of absolutely no one, cops who can't hit a baby in a bush, the utter distastefulness of the 70s decor color palette, deadbeat uncles, poker-playing dads-to-be, and the sound of a grown man vomiting.

Do you like murderous tots? Perhaps you'd enjoy Episode 77- "The Omen," Episode 177- "The Brood," and Episode 216- "The Devil Within Her."

In this week's episode, we're tackling a found footage film from the heyday of found footage films, 2010's "The Last Exorcism." Special topics for your consideration include: confusion about organized religion, the bayou, auctioneers, home schooling, secular vs nonsecular music, medical abilities and more!, solving a movie with a couple of phone calls and the demon that launched a thousand parody songs.

Into movies about exorcisms? You can listen to us discuss the greatest in Episode 155- "The Exorcist." You can hear us talk about some others that are not the greatest in Episode 63- "The Taking of Deborah Logan," Episode 90- "Amityville II: The Possession," Episode 96- "The Conjuring" and Episode 333- "The Conjuring 2." Actually, scratch that. The best exorcism movie is Episode 225- "Beetlejuice."

In this week's episode, we're hitting a film about a cultural touchstone for many of us-- the 2019 film "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." Special topics for your consideration include: being absolutely dried up by the pandemic, kids with cool interests, an aversion to music boxes, Steve Kornacki, holding a ghost accountable for things, great spookery and some confusing messages about Vietnam.

Children's books are weird. You can hear us discuss a movie about one in Episode 11- "The Babadook" and discuss a movie based on one in Episode 82- "Coraline."

In this week's episode, we're venturing into the world of eco-friendly, sustainable, and also anthropomorphic clothing with the 2021 film "Slaxx." Special topics for your consideration include: the OG terribly pretentious clothing store that was (is?) American Apparel, influencers, Team Craig I guess, pants that look like people, famous inventors and a film that is just utterly full of surprises. And hey! This is our 365th episode which is a FULL YEAR of Werewolf Ambulance (not including our maternity break clip shows and our pandemic bonus episodes)! Man, you guys are really getting your free's worth. 

I can only think of one other movie we've covered in which the main bad guy is an inanimate object, dolls and puppets notwithstanding. It's Episode 112- "Christine."

In this week's episode, we're divided by a movie yet again! We're discussing the 2002 video-game-to-horror-movie adaptation "Resident Evil" over a couple of drinky drinks (we're still recording remotely; the world is dumb). Special topics for your consideration include: a rare non-Savini-based Pittsburgh celebrity tale, the best and worst of action movie subgenres, servers and computer stuff, feelings about Michele Rodriguez, and a sincere request to have some patience with those around you unless those around you are, say, this film.

We have covered shockingly few video game films! In fact, the only one may have been Episode 111- "Silent Hill," though while Googling it I learned about the film "Alone in the Dark" which apparently stars Christian Slater as a paranormal researcher and TARA REID AS AN ARCHAEOLOGIST (a phrase that must be typed in all caps) and now I really want to watch that.

In this week's episode, we're tapping into a familiar well for us-- the work of M. Night Shyamalan with his latest film, 2021's "Old." This was, shockingly, one of the more divisive movies we've ever discussed! Special topics for your consideration include: confusion about science, questionable choices for your child characters, the least worst pharmaceutical company, some utterly incomprehensible line deliveries and a ska-promise (skamise? I don't know) that we are making to you, our EMTs.

Yinz, it's our annual New Year's romcom episode and honestly we're baffled as to why. We've taken a trip back to the turn of the century and nude shimmer lipstick with the 2000 film "Miss Congeniality" (very much a different film than I remembered). Special topics for your consideration include: high highs and low lows of potential celeb friendships, a roundup of Christmas romcoms (and frankly, holy shit at these things), Satan's panties, perfect pratfalls, incompetence at the federal level, and our record as matchmakers (1-0 and we're probably out after that!)

Last year we bailed on the romcom idea and instead covered "The Fate of the Furious," which was Episode 313 and also, spectacular. Our previous romcoms were Episode 209- "Love Actually" and Episode 261- "You've Got Mail," but we also once went absolutely insane while in lockdown and spent the better part of three hours over two episodes discussing "Titanic." Those were Bonus Episodes #3 & 4 in April and May of 2020.

Hi EMTs! We hope you've had a wonderful or at least a tolerable holiday season thus far. We're enjoying our week off and are confident (or at least Allen is) that you'll enjoy one of his favorite old episodes: Episode 24- "Grabbers." This is a 2012 Irish horror comedy about needing to stay drunk to ward off a bloodsucking creature, so naturally, we got drunk to watch and record. Really drunk. I don't really remember it but Allen thinks it's a goodie, so it must be! We love you all and we'll see you back here next week for our New Year's episode, "Miss Congeniality."

That sound you hear is sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling, and some light sobbing. This week's episode is our eighth annual Christmas horror episode and, as is the case for so many films of this genre, hoo BOY is it emotionally brutal. We're talking about the 1980 holiday unclassic "Christmas Evil." To be fair, this movie has everything: labor struggles, confused adolescents, the Hamburger Emperor Band, a terrifying collection of Christmas ephemera, a fake Geraldo Rivera, seasonal familial strife, the horrors of midnight mass, extremely upsetting holiday music, a man inexplicably covering his face and hands in mud and kissing a house! It's got it all that and more!

Guys, this film is the greasy pizza-shaped stain on the sidewalk of cinema and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I loved discussing it with my pal, and I am loving sharing it with you again. It's absolutely, utterly, nonsensically insane in all the best/worst ways. I hope you enjoy it.

Special topics for your consideration include" potential title re-writes (like perhaps "I Have Not Forgotten What You Did Two Summers Ago At This Point"), a running game of "do you recognize that guy?", the best thing about this movie (Brandy obvs), a twist that NO ONE COULD HAVE SEEN COMING, and some bad advice on what to do if you're being attacked. Seriously, remember that our motto is 'being fun is better than knowing things' and as a result, we'd just recommend self-defense classes.

It's bad, and it's not even really Paris's fault. Is it about cats? It is not. Special topics for your consideration include: a spot-on portrayal of an American and a spot-off portrayal of actual snow, a deeply terrible explanation of existentialism, being the "most likely to murder" friend, our fundamental lack of understanding around the metric system and Tim? Tom? No, it's Tim.

Want to see more Paris in your life? Probably not but Episode 118- "House of Wax" also has Jared Padalecki, so there's that. You could also get a little Scottish with Episode 116- "The Descent," Episode 187- "Dog Soldiers" and Episode 271- "The Wicker Man." And, screw it, the Nic Cage "The Wicker Man" remake is one of our all-time favorite episodes-- it's number 108.

Look, it's summer, there's a pandemic, and we gotta chillax. It's okay though, because we're talking about the 1993 summer blockbuster hit "Jurassic Park." Is it a horror movie? Not really. Is it horrific? Yes, it is, who the hell wants to bring back dinosaurs? Special topics for your consideration include: menacing a child, being at one's Jeff Goldblum-iest, terrible body doubles, fantastic CGI and practical effects, not knowing much about raptors despite being obsessed with them and a little Clippy erotica.

In this week's edition of "well, it's a movie" we tackle the 2019 reptile thriller (?) "Crawl." Yowza. Special topics for your consideration include: a condemnation of Floridians, the high stakes world of out-swimming an alligator, deciding to inform your child from a young age that they are in fact an apex predator, things Barry Pepper knows about alligators and for gods sake, it's a BASEMENT.

In a very Britney Spears move...whoops, we did it again. Who knew "The Crazies" was about a virus?! We genuinely just thought it was about zombies. I guess this is why being fun is better than knowing things. Anyway, here we are: the 2010 remake of "The Crazies." Special topics for your consideration include: the Ogden Marsh Parking Authority's vehicle booting capabilities, extremely inconsistent symptoms of an illness, the possibility of simply having a lot on your plate, weapons available to one on a farm and Timothy Olyphant: a sheriff, and a particular face.
