Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast

You guys, 2015 was an amazing year. We had a great time doing this podcast and interacting with all of you and building our little Werewolf Ambulance community. That's why it's super weird that, conversely, we decided to cap off this wonderful year with one of the worst stinkers that has ever crossed our path: the 2003 supernatural horror film "Darkness Falls."

Special topics for your consideration include: whether or not we are actually sorry for having you watch this movie, a review of our notes which primarily read "this is so dumb," saying people's names over and over and over, a little Kurt Russell sidebar, the phrase "tooth fairy super strong Duane 'the Rock' Johnson" and a long discussion of teeth, losing teeth and being compensated for losing teeth.

Have you seen this one? Are you mad at us? Please say you're not mad at us. Let us know at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. Also, please feel free to suggest movies for us to cover! We always love to hear from you.

Please also give our sponsor cryptocurium.com some love by checking out the Parcel of Terror on their site.

Happy new year, EMTs! May 2016 bring you way better movies than this one.

In this week's episode, we're discussing the 1989 Stan Winston monster/slasher/Lance Henrikson film "Pumpkinhead." Special topics for your consideration include: the way dogs' legs bend, more of horror's greatest villains: rich shitty teens, palming people like a basketball, a general rudeness to rural folks, t-shirts with tigers and roses on them, whether or not we are all Pumpkinhead (just a little bit), and lots and lots of talk about sitcoms of the 1980s-1990s.

Have you seen Pumpkinhead? How do you feel about it? You can let us know on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. Episode 56- Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)

Is this a comedy? Is this a horror film? What is happening here? This week we are discussing those very crucial questions about the 1986 Tobe Hooper sequel "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," along with such other important topics as: the size of the Alamo, "The Neverending Story," our favorite special effects artist and yours (Tom Savini, of course), alternate spellings for the word 'sex,' what in the actual fuck Dennis Hopper is doing and the fact that Franklin had it coming.

Where do you fall in the comedy vs. horror debate? What do you think of Leatherface's burgeoning sexuality? What's your take on this movie overall? You can let us know on Facebook (/werewolfambulance), on Instagram (@werebulance) or on Twitter (@werebulance). Topics of interest include: all of the bonkers (and...not so bonkers??!) conspiracy theories surrounding this movie, a compare and contrast with the 1997 miniseries aka the "Brian-from-Wings version," a treatise on Indian burial grounds, Jack Nicholson as a crazy person, getting super deep into Googling "The Shining" and Steven King's fascination with supernatural kids.

This week we're discussing our favorite holiday (including the great Reese's Peanut Butter Cups vs. Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins debate) and more importantly, we're talking about the 2000 Canadian teenage werewolf film "Ginger Snaps."

Special topics include some highlights of our first season, menstruation and more menstruation, funny Canadian money, great Canadian bands, chilly Canadian weather, kooky moms, taking field hockey class, methods of putting blood in your mouth and a lot of puberty talk.

We had no idea this movie was so beloved until we posted that we were discussing it and read your opinions. Thank you, EMTs, for all the feedback and comments and always being there with us.
