Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast
Episode 42- Spider Baby (1967)

In this episode, we make an overdue foray into the '60s to discuss the absolutely bonkers 1967 Lon Chaney Jr. film "Spider Baby." Special topics for your consideration include: socially acceptable drunk driving, VERY VERY subtle references to "The Wolf Man," the weird dating lives of legal secretaries, tiptoeing into exploitation cinema and what it truly means to be pre-pre-natal.

In this episode, we discuss the 1981 classic shark film "Jawses" starring the beloved characters of 'Quimpt' and 'Richard Dreyfuss.' No, that's not true--we watched "The Last Shark" aka "Great White" aka "L'Ultimo Squalo," the Italian cover band version of that one really famous shark movie. Special topics include: the bizarre accents and even more bizarre death of Vic Morrow, how gubernatorial campaigns work, butcher conspiracies, sharks in reverse, the Giorgios and greatest scene we have viewed to this point in WWA history.

Have you seen this movie? If not, you should really see this movie--it's free on YouTube! Then tell us what you thought of it at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram @werewolfambulance or Twitter @werebulance. As always, we love to hear from you!

What was that?? Was that something at the window?! Better grab a meat tenderizer and a board with some nails in it because this week, we're talking about the 2011 home invasion horror film "You're Next." Special topics for discussion include: mock turtlenecks, family dynamics, where Allen does or does not hide weapons in his home, the Michael Myers effect, a variety of other home invasion films and favorite real-life murderous rage soundtracks.

Sorry this one's a little long, EMTs, but we had so much to say about this movie! What did you think of it? Tell us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. As always, we love to hear from you.

Episode 39- Leprechaun in the Hood (2000)

In this week's episode, we get angry about the level of effort put into (or more accurately, not put into) the 5th installment in the "Leprechaun" franchise, the 2000 film "Leprechaun in the Hood." Did anyone give any shit about this movie at all? It does not appear so. Special topics of discussion include: Tyler Perry characters, Ice-T's acting chops, positive rap, spending gold instead of money, and what in the world was actually happening with Coolio??

Werewolf EMTs, how could you do this to us? We know that technically it's our fault but we're blaming you anyway. What did you think of this movie? If you enjoyed it, tell us why! We sincerely want to know. Get in touch at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram@werewolfambulance and Twitter @werebulance.

Episode 38- The Gate (1987)

In this episode, we chastise you for not using the hashtag #saviniwatch2k15. Guys, why are we the only ones using it?? C'mon. Anyway, this week we are discussing the 1987 film "The Gate." Some fairly important topics of discussion: Canadians, baby Stephen Dorff, baby serial killers, "hair and feelings" (as usual), the return of Brian from "Wings" and the crazy effects that brought us the wonderful, wonderful creatures of this film.

God, do we love "The Gate." Do you love it? Please tell us you love it. Or tell us if you hate it! We always love to hear from you at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance. Episode 37- Zombeavers (2014)

In this episode, we quite frankly struggle to come up with enough things to say about the 2014 slasher/comedy "Zombeavers." Instead, we discuss important topics such as: television shows we enjoy, movies we'd like to see get made, other movies that are better than this one, the song "Your Body is a Wonderland" and we also set a Werewolf Ambulance record for the number of times that the phrase, "I don't know" is uttered in a single episode.

Did you like this movie? Tell us about it on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance. We'd really love to hear from you on this one!

Episode 36- Waxwork (1988)

In this episode, we discuss the absurdity and delight that is the 1988 horror comedy thriller, "Waxwork." Special topics for your consideration include: the rise & fall of Billy from "Gremlins," oddly-named Draculas, gin Gimlis, the trustworthiness of women named after countries and--AGAIN--terrible cops! We may as well change the iTunes description of this podcast to "an analysis and critique of police work in the modern horror film." God, horror cops are the worst.

Do you love this movie? We hope you love this movie. Tell us about it on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Twitter @werebulance or Instagram @werewolfambulance.

Episode 35- Neon Maniacs (1986)

In this week's episode, we are joined by our friend Josh to discuss the 1986 cult classic "Neon Maniacs." This episode produces more questions than it does answers, such as...what is a Neon Maniac? Where did they come from? Why do they live near the ocean if water will kill them? What do they talk about during the day?... and so on, and so forth. Other important topics include: Benjamin Button disease, possible repercussions for disrespecting 80's movie punks and yet another glimpse into the world of ineptitude that is being a cop in a horror movie.

If you like Josh as much as we do, check out his podcast "The Ungodly Warlocks" and his blog http://lendmeyoursteelbearinghand.blogspot.com/

Episode 34- Candyman (1992)

EMTs, do us a favor. Plop yourself in front of a mirror and repeat five times: "Werewolf Ambulance.... Werewolf Ambulance..." and wait for us to show up because we are talking about the 1992 thriller "Candyman" this week! Special topics for your consideration include: Tom Savini Thigh Watch 2k15 (please use the hashtag #saviniwatch2k15), smoking, the return of bugs in toilets, more smoking, an unexpected appearance from Benjamin Franklin, big projects in academia, Bloody Mary vs. the Pig Woman, BEES, and finally more smoking. Ohh, delicious smoking.

Episode 33- The Craft (1996)

Light as a feather, stiff as a board: it's time to talk about the 1996 witchcraft thriller "The Craft." Topics of importance include attempts to contact rock legends via a ouija board, the age range of people who can play high school students, Fairuza Balk being turned up to 11, an unhealthy enjoyment of smoking and the fact that maaaaybe juggalos aren't so bad.

We know a lot of you love this movie--tell us all about it on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, or on Twitter @werebulance or Instagram @werewolfambulance. Please also keep your recommendations coming! We always love to hear from you.
