In this week's episode, an unprecedented second Christmas-themed episode, we're discussing the 1984 creature/holiday film "Gremlins." Special topics for your consideration include: television shows that we don't know why we watch, where on earth tiny creatures would get tiny adult clothes, a retrospective on the life, times and career of Corey Feldman, Billy's badass mom and Katie hitting the holiday wall and railing about both "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

In our third annual Christmas episode, we're discussing the 1974 Canadian slasher "Black Christmas." Special topics for your consideration include: not knowing any of the words to any actual Christmas carols, refusing to acknowledge an entire floor of the house, being bad at piano, being good at wearing fur coats and calling from iiiinsiiiiide the hoooouuuuse! Oh also, we're eating cookies. Sorry about that; it's the holidays. Happy holidays.

Episode 112- Christine (1983)

After wayyy too many weeks spent pondering what was happening in cinema in the early 2000s, we've gone back to the 80s (and Stephen King and John Carpenter) with the boy-meets-car, boy-falls-in-love-with-car, car-ruins-boy's-life classic "Christine." Special topics for your consideration include: very serious discussions of science and philosophy, less serious discussions about mechanophilia, even LESS serious discussions about the series "Friday Night Lights" in which it is revealed we can't remember a damn thing about it, and Allen attempts to explain how drive-in movie theatres work, despite not actually knowing how drive-in movie theatres work. It's a goodie.

Do you like this movie? How do you feel it fits in the Carpenter oeuvre? Let us know in the comments at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance. You can also email us at werewolfambulance@gmail.com; we love to hear from you. While you're on the internet, please please consider going to iTunes and give us a rating/review. It really does help more people find the show.

Special topics include: How Sean Bean was cast in this film and (spoiler alert) how he LIVES!, the fact that you should really never trust Marita Covarrubias, ...witch hunters??, good concepts and bad executions, and GUCCI GUCCI.

Special topics for your consideration include: how the logistics of legal crimes are carried out when it's a crime other than murder, owning Dean Koontz by marriage, the transitive property of crime in that all murder is crime but not all crime is murder, being or not being Ryder Strong, our real feelings on Gwyneth Paltrow and EATING DINNER, NO PENISES.

Episode 108- The Wicker Man (2006)

After a long and quite frankly terrible week in American history, we're trying to lighten the mood a little with the 2006 Nicolas Cage remake of "The Wicker Man." Special topics for your consideration include: why Nic Cage is always a cop and how delightful his amazing freakouts are, sighting bands in the wild, our mutual affinity for creepy little girls in film, the majesty of Ellen Burstyn, British pronunciations and what happens when Allen has too much coffee.

Episode 107- Jennifer's Body (2009)

In this week's episode, we're discussing the 2009 black comedy horror film "Jennifer's Body." Special topics we'd like you to consider include: the usage of Urban Dictionary to figure out what anyone is talking about, famous people we've been told we resemble, things that are too gauche even for Pauly Shore, a great depiction of teenage awkwardness, being just a bit too quirky and that weird feeling where you're let down by expecting something to be shitty but it's just not shitty enough. There's gotta be a German word for that, right?
