Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast

Heyyyy kids! (to be read in the Binky the Clown from "Garfield" voice, you guys know that one, right?) Anyway, we're doing a clown movie. And it's dark. This week we're discussing the 2017 Halloween-themed killer clown (klown? No, it's clown) film "Terrifier," currently available on Netflix. Special topics for your consideration include: the return of our Don vs. Dawn conundrum, sexy costumes and our joint Halloween costume, pizza tips, traffic etiquette and, oddly enough, the Lunachicks.

Do you like clown movies? Of course you do! Check out our previous clowns-behaving-badly films, Episode 3- "Stitches," Episode 97- "IT" (the 1990 TV film) and Episode 140- "Killer Klowns from Outer Space." Honorable mentions go to Episode 175- "House of 1000 Corpses" and Episode 194- "Santa Sangre" just for the weird clown cameos.

Special topics for your consideration include: hair talk, the advent of Julie Christy season, a quick biography of Marjoe Gortner and his magnificent terrible name, a diatribe on dancing, a Mausoleum confession and the poor titty bell, working overtime.

Do you love ridiculously bad 80s movies? May we also recommend Episode 1- "Warlock," Episode 2- "Without Warning" (what were we doing??), Episode 25- "The Pit," Episode 35- "Neon Maniacs," or Episode 79- "Prince of Darkness."

Special topics for your consideration include: many vampire impressions (obvs), asking the Count to leave a party, our continued disdain for the concept of immortality, werewolves AND swearwolves and our new favorite food, basghetti.

I always forget when listing our vampire movies that we discussed "Bram Stoker's Dracula" with our pals Allison and John. Go listen to that one-- it's Episode 110.

A big thanks to listener Jason P. for suggesting this bananas film: this week we're talking about the 1977 movie that IS DEFINITELY NOT A RIPOFF OF "JAWS," DON'T YOU WORRY, "Orca." Special topics for your consideration include: this movie is a ripoff of "Jaws," Bo Derek being off-brand, Whale Facts!: The Game, things one might miss while getting a snack, Richard Harris singing and a little "Baby Shark."

Do you like movies that are definitely, totally not meant to be "Jaws"? You should check out Episode 41- "The Last Shark."

This week we're doing one of Allen's suggestions: the 1994 hit film "Interview with the Vampire" (not "Interview with a Vampire," which is a much better name.) This week's episode deserves a subtitle! "The Dentist: Katie's Mistake." Guys, I'm sorry. This was not the movie I remember seeing on cable in the late 90s. OH WELL TOO LATE NOW. Anyway, special topics for your consideration include: lots of controversial opinions on such matters as swimming and fashion, PSAs-- lots of PSAs, dentists we like (what's up Dr. Alani), new career paths we may pursue and a harsh but honest criticism of the state of Delaware.

Are you into medical horror? You weirdo. If so, check out some of out other episodes, like Episode 20- "American Mary," Episode 29- "Re-Animator" or Episode 137- "Monkey Shines."

Anyway, it's another wonderfully schlocky 80s movie- Night of the Comet from 1984. Do you like apocalyptic horror films? Check out some of our other episodes, such as Episode 12- "The Happening," Episode 101- "28 Days Later," or Episode 173- "Dawn of the Dead" (the remake).
