You guys, 2015 was an amazing year. We had a great time doing this podcast and interacting with all of you and building our little Werewolf Ambulance community. That's why it's super weird that, conversely, we decided to cap off this wonderful year with one of the worst stinkers that has ever crossed our path: the 2003 supernatural horror film "Darkness Falls."

Special topics for your consideration include: whether or not we are actually sorry for having you watch this movie, a review of our notes which primarily read "this is so dumb," saying people's names over and over and over, a little Kurt Russell sidebar, the phrase "tooth fairy super strong Duane 'the Rock' Johnson" and a long discussion of teeth, losing teeth and being compensated for losing teeth.

Have you seen this one? Are you mad at us? Please say you're not mad at us. Let us know at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. Also, please feel free to suggest movies for us to cover! We always love to hear from you.

Please also give our sponsor cryptocurium.com some love by checking out the Parcel of Terror on their site.

Happy new year, EMTs! May 2016 bring you way better movies than this one.

In this week's episode, we're joined by our friend Perry to discuss one of his favorite movies, the 1991 crime thriller horror film "The Silence of the Lambs." Special topics to consider include the Hannibal Lecter movie & television universe, the puckering of one's butthole, how people from Pittsburgh say all kinds of things wrong, Buffalo Bill as the absolute worst guy ever, ballerina music boxes and 1 million impressions of Clarice and Buffalo Bill. Topics of interest include: all of the bonkers (and...not so bonkers??!) conspiracy theories surrounding this movie, a compare and contrast with the 1997 miniseries aka the "Brian-from-Wings version," a treatise on Indian burial grounds, Jack Nicholson as a crazy person, getting super deep into Googling "The Shining" and Steven King's fascination with supernatural kids.

Episode 47- Don't Look Now (1973)

This episode could best be described as 1) how we earned our explicit rating on iTunes or 2) a "very long day" episode in which we go a little bit off-topic in describing the 1973 British-Italian psychological thriller "Don't Look Now" (and also make quite a few sound effects.)

Special topics include: the magnetism of Sutherland, a takedown of the film "Antichrist" (again), Father Bartelucci, good old fashioned suspicion of everyone and everything, the oh-so-famous sex scene and quite possibly the best description of Channing Tatum ever uttered aloud. You're gonna love it.

Have you seen "Don't Look Now"? Love it? Hate it? Also, tell us how you feel about Sutherland. Thank you Missy for suggesting this movie! Episode 46- The Howling (1981)

Well guys, we figured that if we were going to wait 46 whole episodes to do a werewolf film, it only made sense that we'd do one that is absolutely bonkers. With that, we bring you the 1981 Joe Dante film "The Howling." Special topics of consideration include: whether or not werewolves are sympathetic creatures, whether or not Tom Savini cares about us, Slim Pickens, Roller Coaster Tycoon as a film score, connections between lycanthropy & psychology and the tonguing of wounds.

Have you seen "The Howling"? Do you love it? Do you agree that it is bonkers? Let us know at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance. You can totally see his penis. Please accept my deepest apology for this error.

Best,

Okay, onto the episode! This week we discuss the 1996 teen slasher "Scream." Special topics of consideration include: getting into One Direction, MMA puns, similarities to James Bond villains, the oldest high schoolers ever, disillusionment, a handful of Canadian jokes and most excitingly: our new Angelfire website! Visit it at werewolfambulance.angelfire.com. By the way, we also spoil some things in "Scream 2" so... we're sorry about that.

Episode 39- Leprechaun in the Hood (2000)

In this week's episode, we get angry about the level of effort put into (or more accurately, not put into) the 5th installment in the "Leprechaun" franchise, the 2000 film "Leprechaun in the Hood." Did anyone give any shit about this movie at all? It does not appear so. Special topics of discussion include: Tyler Perry characters, Ice-T's acting chops, positive rap, spending gold instead of money, and what in the world was actually happening with Coolio??

Werewolf EMTs, how could you do this to us? We know that technically it's our fault but we're blaming you anyway. What did you think of this movie? If you enjoyed it, tell us why! In this episode, we chastise you for not using the hashtag #saviniwatch2k15. Guys, why are we the only ones using it?? C'mon. Anyway, this week we are discussing the 1987 film "The Gate." Some fairly important topics of discussion: Canadians, baby Stephen Dorff, baby serial killers, "hair and feelings" (as usual), the return of Brian from "Wings" and the crazy effects that brought us the wonderful, wonderful creatures of this film.

God, do we love "The Gate." Do you love it? Please tell us you love it. Or tell us if you hate it! Instead, we discuss important topics such as: television shows we enjoy, movies we'd like to see get made, other movies that are better than this one, the song "Your Body is a Wonderland" and we also set a Werewolf Ambulance record for the number of times that the phrase, "I don't know" is uttered in a single episode.

We may as well change the iTunes description of this podcast to "an analysis and critique of police work in the modern horror film." God, horror cops are the worst.

Episode 35- Neon Maniacs (1986)

In this week's episode, we are joined by our friend Josh to discuss the 1986 cult classic "Neon Maniacs." This episode produces more questions than it does answers, such as...what is a Neon Maniac? Where did they come from? Why do they live near the ocean if water will kill them? What do they talk about during the day?... and so on, and so forth. Other important topics include: Benjamin Button disease, possible repercussions for disrespecting 80's movie punks and yet another glimpse into the world of ineptitude that is being a cop in a horror movie.

If you like Josh as much as we do, check out his podcast "The Ungodly Warlocks" and his blog http://lendmeyoursteelbearinghand.blogspot.com/

Special topics for your consideration include: Tom Savini Thigh Watch 2k15 (please use the hashtag #saviniwatch2k15), smoking, the return of bugs in toilets, more smoking, an unexpected appearance from Benjamin Franklin, big projects in academia, Bloody Mary vs. the Pig Woman, BEES, and finally more smoking. Episode 32- Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)

By popular demand, we are digging into the seventh installment of the "Friday the 13th" series, "The New Blood." This 1988 slasher has it all: kicky boots and cheap pearls, weird psychiatry, Patrick Swayze's hair, corpses that relocate regularly, telekinetic battles and the unofficial King of the Horror Con: Kane Hodder.

Did you like this movie? If so, did you like it for any reasons other than cool skeletal Jason? We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch with us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance.

This was a listener-recommended film and we love doing those. Let us know what you'd like to hear as well!

Does that mean we weren't so into Mandy Lane? You'll have to listen to the episode to find out!

This week we are joined by our friend Kelly to discuss her pick, the 1997 horror-comedy film "Office Killer." Things to consider: the pleasures of email and murder, being either Molly Ringwald or Jeanne Tripplehorn as a personality test, Windexing the inside of a body and uncomfortably using the word "sidepiece."

Episode 25- The Pit (1981)

Guys, we definitely lost our minds a little over this one: we are joined this week by our friend Amanda to discuss the bizarre world that is the 1981 film, "The Pit." In this episode we get deep into the weird science and weird sex stuff of a 12-year old boy, his talking teddy bear, a hole full of trolls and a sexy psychology student. That's really what this movie is about. Other topics of conversation include corn fetishes, shitty "Peter & the Wolf," big glasses fetishes, mommy issues, book fetishes, bizarre sound design and...like 40 other fetishes. Special topics of nonsense that we cover this week include: Dom DeLuise, "talking about Ireland", that 'Sherlock' episode "Humina Ha-Ha", drunks cops and the unending horrors of the ocean.

Other important topics of discussion in this episode include prog rock soundtracks (..witch!), dream logic, hidden images, ADR-ed lines and tiny baby heads. We also say the word "giallo" approximately 400 times, so get ready for that!
