In the second half of our back-to-back series, we're discussing the 1986 sequel to last week's episode, "Poltergeist II: The Other Side." Special topics for your consideration include: a different take on Craig T. Nelson, bad haircuts running rampant, an academic questioning of Cotton-Eyed Joe, te-killya, hot dad podcast ideas and old people: what's the deal with them?

We've hit 1986 particularly hard, so check out some of our other episodes from the year: Episode 35- "Neon Maniacs," Episode 56- "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," Episode 95- "April Fools Day," Episode 103- "The Fly," Episode 147- "Critters," Episode 174- "Chopping Mall," Episode 180- "The Stuff," Episode 199- "Terrorvision" (our live show!) and Episode 200- "Trick or Treat." WHEW.

In another back-to-back/original-sequel series, this week we're discussing the 1982 supernatural horror classic "Poltergeist." Special topics for your consideration include: not being able to stop words from spilling from one's mouth, feeling some kind of way about Craig T. Nelson, the Poltergeist "curse," having a lot of feelings, a Pittsburgh accent that will always prevail and the return of a beloved sound effect. Next week we'll follow up with the 1986 sequel, "Poltergeist II: The Other Side."

Did you miss our first original-sequel series? Check out Episodes 164 and 165- the first and second films in the "Puppet Master" series.

This week, everyone else is talking about the 2018 Netflix film "Bird Box" so why shouldn't we? Just a fair warning: this is a new movie and we are going to spoil it, so if you're intending to watch it, watch it first. Special topics for your consideration include: you can't just take someone else's name, a difference of opinion on Sandra Bullock, survival plans for the apocalypse, existential crises, a compare and contrast with "The Happening" and WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOX?!?

You know we also covered "The Happening," right? Check out that one and let us know how you think the films stack up-- it's Episode 12 (because we really came out of the gate swinging).

In this week's episode, we're talking about the 1996 action/horror vampire film "From Dusk till Dawn." Special topics for your consideration include: local vanity license plates, supernatural beings: ranked, CLOONEY, the many professional abilities of Tom Savini, Google Maps ruining film plots and Cheech vs. Chong.

This week, you may want to listen to our other episodes starring actors who appeared on the network television hit "E.R.": Episode 69- "Thir13een Ghosts" (Juliana Margulies) and Episode 118- "House of Wax" (Jared Padalecki).
