Episode 49- The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)

In this week's episode we take on our first remake, or meta-remake, or whatever you want to call it: the 2014 slasher "The Town That Dreaded Sundown." Special topics for your musing include: hatred of athletic sex, "Walker, Texas Ranger," refusing to take guff for "Gilmore Girls," better phantom reveals, better things you could watch on Netflix, better movies called "The Town That Dreaded Sundown," red herrings and confusing motivations.

What are your thoughts on this movie? What are your thoughts on the original? You can tell us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. Also, don't forget to see what's new this week at werewolfambulance.angelfire.com!

Episode 48- Unfriended (2014)

In this episode, we discuss last year's found footage/supernatural/technological horror film "Unfriended." Special topics of discussion include: what ever happened to Chunk and Horace, ineptitude with computers in general, cats doing backflips, clicking wildly, Chekhov's knife and the occasional shitting of one's pants. Oh, and teens--so much talk about teens.

Episode 47- Don't Look Now (1973)

This episode could best be described as 1) how we earned our explicit rating on iTunes or 2) a "very long day" episode in which we go a little bit off-topic in describing the 1973 British-Italian psychological thriller "Don't Look Now" (and also make quite a few sound effects.)

Special topics include: the magnetism of Sutherland, a takedown of the film "Antichrist" (again), Father Bartelucci, good old fashioned suspicion of everyone and everything, the oh-so-famous sex scene and quite possibly the best description of Channing Tatum ever uttered aloud. You're gonna love it.

Have you seen "Don't Look Now"? Love it? Hate it? Also, tell us how you feel about Sutherland. Thank you Missy for suggesting this movie! Everyone, keep giving us your suggestions--we love to hear them. Get in touch at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram @werewolfambulance or Twitter @werebulance.

Episode 46- The Howling (1981)

Well guys, we figured that if we were going to wait 46 whole episodes to do a werewolf film, it only made sense that we'd do one that is absolutely bonkers. With that, we bring you the 1981 Joe Dante film "The Howling." Special topics of consideration include: whether or not werewolves are sympathetic creatures, whether or not Tom Savini cares about us, Slim Pickens, Roller Coaster Tycoon as a film score, connections between lycanthropy & psychology and the tonguing of wounds.

Have you seen "The Howling"? Do you love it? Do you agree that it is bonkers? Let us know at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance. This movie was suggested to us by a fantastic listener named Dylan, so please keep your suggestions coming--we love to hear from you!

What have you done to his eyes, you maniacs?! This week we're joined by our friend Sara this to discuss the 1968 classic "Rosemary's Baby." Special topics of discussion include: the pros and cons of joining a Satanic cult, vodka blush recipes, what exactly a "crepe hanger" is, the importance of literacy and R. Kelly vs. Roman Polanski in a gross-off for the ages.

Episode 44- Scream (1996)

First, some errors and omissions: In this episode, I say that you can't really see Tom Cruise's penis in "All the Right Moves" very well but after doing further research with the magic of online videos, you totally can. You can totally see his penis. Please accept my deepest apology for this error.

Best,
Katie

Okay, onto the episode! This week we discuss the 1996 teen slasher "Scream." Special topics of consideration include: getting into One Direction, MMA puns, similarities to James Bond villains, the oldest high schoolers ever, disillusionment, a handful of Canadian jokes and most excitingly: our new Angelfire website! Visit it at werewolfambulance.angelfire.com. By the way, we also spoil some things in "Scream 2" so... we're sorry about that.

Have you seen this movie? Where do you come down on it? Let us know--we love to hear from you. Get in touch at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram @werewolfambulance or Twitter @werebulance. Also, please keep recommending movies you'd like us to review!

Episode 43- We Are What We Are (2013)

In this week's episode, we explore our darker and more primitive sides as we discuss the 2013 high-tension cannibal thriller "We Are What We Are." Special topics for your consideration include: the skillsets of country doctors, family drama, weird religion, Keanu Reeves, Allen's nightmare dungeon, eating a dog, eating a cat, eating a horse and of course, eating people.

Have you seen this movie? What did you think? If you have seen the original Mexican film, how did you feel the remake held up? Let us know at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. We always love to hear from you!

Episode 42- Spider Baby (1967)

In this episode, we make an overdue foray into the '60s to discuss the absolutely bonkers 1967 Lon Chaney Jr. film "Spider Baby." Special topics for your consideration include: socially acceptable drunk driving, VERY VERY subtle references to "The Wolf Man," the weird dating lives of legal secretaries, tiptoeing into exploitation cinema and what it truly means to be pre-pre-natal.

In this episode, we discuss the 1981 classic shark film "Jawses" starring the beloved characters of 'Quimpt' and 'Richard Dreyfuss.' No, that's not true--we watched "The Last Shark" aka "Great White" aka "L'Ultimo Squalo," the Italian cover band version of that one really famous shark movie. Special topics include: the bizarre accents and even more bizarre death of Vic Morrow, how gubernatorial campaigns work, butcher conspiracies, sharks in reverse, the Giorgios and greatest scene we have viewed to this point in WWA history.

Have you seen this movie? If not, you should really see this movie--it's free on YouTube! Then tell us what you thought of it at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram @werewolfambulance or Twitter @werebulance. As always, we love to hear from you!

What was that?? Was that something at the window?! Better grab a meat tenderizer and a board with some nails in it because this week, we're talking about the 2011 home invasion horror film "You're Next." Special topics for discussion include: mock turtlenecks, family dynamics, where Allen does or does not hide weapons in his home, the Michael Myers effect, a variety of other home invasion films and favorite real-life murderous rage soundtracks.

Sorry this one's a little long, EMTs, but we had so much to say about this movie! What did you think of it? Tell us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. As always, we love to hear from you.
