Episode 56- Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)

Is this a comedy? Is this a horror film? What is happening here? This week we are discussing those very crucial questions about the 1986 Tobe Hooper sequel "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," along with such other important topics as: the size of the Alamo, "The Neverending Story," our favorite special effects artist and yours (Tom Savini, of course), alternate spellings for the word 'sex,' what in the actual fuck Dennis Hopper is doing and the fact that Franklin had it coming.

Where do you fall in the comedy vs. horror debate? What do you think of Leatherface's burgeoning sexuality? What's your take on this movie overall? You can let us know on Facebook (/werewolfambulance), on Instagram (@werebulance) or on Twitter (@werebulance). This movie was recommended by a number of you so please keep your suggestions and comments coming--we love to hear from you.

Thanks again to Cryptocurium and the Parcel of Terror for sponsoring this episode! Find out more at cryptocurium.com.

Episode 55-The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

In this week's episode, we're joined by our friend Perry to discuss one of his favorite movies, the 1991 crime thriller horror film "The Silence of the Lambs." Special topics to consider include the Hannibal Lecter movie & television universe, the puckering of one's butthole, how people from Pittsburgh say all kinds of things wrong, Buffalo Bill as the absolute worst guy ever, ballerina music boxes and 1 million impressions of Clarice and Buffalo Bill. Bonus points to the first listener to tell us how many times we said "Dr. Lecter!" in this episode. Short answer? It's a lot.

This movie is such a classic--do you love it as well? Let us know your thoughts on anything regarding "The Silence of the Lambs" on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance. We really do love to hear from you. Please also keep your movie suggestions coming! The next few we are doing were EMT suggestions, which is awesome. Speaking of awesome, don't forget to check out the Parcel of Terror on cryptocurium.com. Highly recommended!

Episode 54- The Shining (1980)

In this episode, we discuss one of the 'tent poles' of horror, the 1980 Stanley Kubrick film "The Shining." Topics of interest include: all of the bonkers (and...not so bonkers??!) conspiracy theories surrounding this movie, a compare and contrast with the 1997 miniseries aka the "Brian-from-Wings version," a treatise on Indian burial grounds, Jack Nicholson as a crazy person, getting super deep into Googling "The Shining" and Steven King's fascination with supernatural kids.

You've definitely seen this movie. Do you love it? Does anyone not love it? Let us know! You can find us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werewolfambulance and on Twitter @werebulance. Oh, and never forget werewolfambulance.angelfire.com!

Episode 53- Ginger Snaps (2000)

Welcome to SEASON TWO of Werewolf Ambulance and our special Halloween week episode! This week we're discussing our favorite holiday (including the great Reese's Peanut Butter Cups vs. Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins debate) and more importantly, we're talking about the 2000 Canadian teenage werewolf film "Ginger Snaps."

Special topics include some highlights of our first season, menstruation and more menstruation, funny Canadian money, great Canadian bands, chilly Canadian weather, kooky moms, taking field hockey class, methods of putting blood in your mouth and a lot of puberty talk.

We had no idea this movie was so beloved until we posted that we were discussing it and read your opinions. Thank you, EMTs, for all the feedback and comments and always being there with us. Also if you have any input on our silly ratings system, we are all ears! Get in touch on Facebook (facebook.com/werewolfambulance), Instagram (werewolfambulance) and Twitter (werebulance).

Topics for discussion include: the weirdness and excellence that is the work of Tom Atkins, the insides of robots, Marge Guttmann, fucking STONEHENGE, not being very nonchalant, and time zones: how they work.

Come to daddy, Werewolf EMTs! This week we're discussing the 1987 Clive Barker pleasure-meets-pain-meets-puzzles horror classic, "Hellraiser." Special topics of discussion include: Frank's bizarre accent and even more bizarre need to be wearing clothing at basically every moment, the California Raisins, rocks shaped like potatoes, super gory effects, Captain Lou Albano and what parts of a person's skin you'd really need to wear in order to pass for them.

Do you like this movie? This is one where we'd particularly like to hear from you: tell us your thoughts on "Hellraiser" at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, on Instagram @werebulance, on Twitter @werebulance or as always, at werewolfambulance.angelfire.com.

Episode 47- Don't Look Now (1973)

This episode could best be described as 1) how we earned our explicit rating on iTunes or 2) a "very long day" episode in which we go a little bit off-topic in describing the 1973 British-Italian psychological thriller "Don't Look Now" (and also make quite a few sound effects.)

Special topics include: the magnetism of Sutherland, a takedown of the film "Antichrist" (again), Father Bartelucci, good old fashioned suspicion of everyone and everything, the oh-so-famous sex scene and quite possibly the best description of Channing Tatum ever uttered aloud. You're gonna love it.

Have you seen "Don't Look Now"? Love it? Hate it? Also, tell us how you feel about Sutherland. Thank you Missy for suggesting this movie! Everyone, keep giving us your suggestions--we love to hear them. Get in touch at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Instagram @werewolfambulance or Twitter @werebulance.
