Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast
Episode 32- Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)

By popular demand, we are digging into the seventh installment of the "Friday the 13th" series, "The New Blood." This 1988 slasher has it all: kicky boots and cheap pearls, weird psychiatry, Patrick Swayze's hair, corpses that relocate regularly, telekinetic battles and the unofficial King of the Horror Con: Kane Hodder.

Did you like this movie? If so, did you like it for any reasons other than cool skeletal Jason? We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch with us at facebook.com/werewolfambulance or on Twitter @werebulance or on Instagram @werewolfambulance.

This was a listener-recommended film and we love doing those. Let us know what you'd like to hear as well!

In this episode about the 2006 teen slasher "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane," we manage to talk about pretty much every other movie we could think of that wasn't "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" including but not limited to: "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Antichrist," "The Craft," "Hellraiser," and "Friday the 13th." Does that mean we weren't so into Mandy Lane? You'll have to listen to the episode to find out!

Episode 30- Office Killer (1997)

This week we are joined by our friend Kelly to discuss her pick, the 1997 horror-comedy film "Office Killer." Things to consider: the pleasures of email and murder, being either Molly Ringwald or Jeanne Tripplehorn as a personality test, Windexing the inside of a body and uncomfortably using the word "sidepiece."

Have you seen this movie? Did you like it? As always, we love to hear what you think. Get in touch with us on facebook.com/werewolfambulance, Twitter @werebulance or Instagram @werewolfambulance.

Episode 28- Child's Play 2 (1990)

In this episode we get deep into the Chucky mythos with the sequel "Child's Play 2" with such questions as "why does he need Andy?" and "is this what voodoo is?" Turns out that maybe we should have also watched the first "Child's Play" after all. Other important topics include barren wombs, shitty foster dads, sticking toys up one's butt, OSHA violations and very important Hummel figures.

Episode 25- The Pit (1981)

Guys, we definitely lost our minds a little over this one: we are joined this week by our friend Amanda to discuss the bizarre world that is the 1981 film, "The Pit." In this episode we get deep into the weird science and weird sex stuff of a 12-year old boy, his talking teddy bear, a hole full of trolls and a sexy psychology student. That's really what this movie is about. Other topics of conversation include corn fetishes, shitty "Peter & the Wolf," big glasses fetishes, mommy issues, book fetishes, bizarre sound design and...like 40 other fetishes. It is seriously madness. If you haven't seen this movie, you need to see it! It's all over YouTube and it caused our brains to leak out our ears.

You can get this episode at werewolfambulance.libsyn.com or on iTunes. As always, we love to hear from you. Have you seen "The Pit"? What did you think of it?

Episode 24- Grabbers (2012)

Please join us on a very special "vision quest" episode of Werewolf Ambulance in which we got drunk and watched the 2012 Irish horror comedy "Grabbers." Special topics of nonsense that we cover this week include: Dom DeLuise, "talking about Ireland", that 'Sherlock' episode "Humina Ha-Ha", drunks cops and the unending horrors of the ocean.

Please accept Katie's most heartfelt apologies for saying nothing useful and also for burping and making excessive sound effects in this episode.

Did you see "Grabbers"? What did you think? As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts and if you liked this episode, please tell a friend!

Episode 23- Suspiria (1977)

...witch....witch....witch...!

In this episode, we get deep into the madness of the 1977 Dario Argento film "Suspiria", including the question of whether it is more insane than "Alucarda" (if you've not listened to that episode of Werewolf Ambulance, we implore you to watch that movie and check out the episode.) We'd love to hear from you about your thoughts on either/both movies at facebook.com/werewolfambulance, twitter.com/werebulance or instagram @werewolfambulance

Other important topics of discussion in this episode include prog rock soundtracks (..witch!), dream logic, hidden images, ADR-ed lines and tiny baby heads. We also say the word "giallo" approximately 400 times, so get ready for that!

Did you like this episode? Please tell a friend--that's how we'll get more Werewolf EMTs on board with us.
