Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast

In this momentous week, it's both the Halloween episode and #200 for us! We're celebrating by watching a real doozy from the 1980s-- the heavy metal horror film "Trick or Treat" from 1986. This film features cameos from Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne so you know it's a serious one. Special topics for your consideration include: a quick roundup of television horror, testing for a job as a 976 sexy phone operator, a love of the holiday, tangential thoughts and weird sex tips.

If you just can't get enough of musicians acting in horror films, check out Episode 39- "Leprechaun in the Hood" ft. Ice T, Episode 89- "Queen of the Damned" ft. Aaliyah, Episode 153- "The Hunger" ft. David Bowie and Episode 176- "Strangeland" ft. Dee Snider. Or, get a BOGO with Episode 152- "Anaconda" (J-Lo AND Ice Cube!)

Live from Pittsburgh, it's a Werewolf Ambulance show! We're discussing the 1986 bananas monster/sci-fi/horror film "Terrorvision." Because this episode was recorded live, the sound quality is what you'd expect from a live show. Big thanks to our pal Dan B. for managing all our AV stuff! Special topics for your consideration include: oh my god we're so nervous and also we are drinking, the pleasure dome, gaps in your teeth, scab monsters, the expectations that we have of Charles Band, the game "Band or Band?" and hiring teens to do things.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the show, and thanks in general to all of you who have supported us over the years. We are genuinely touched by your kindness.

If you'd like to take a trip down the Charles Band memory lane, check out our other episodes of his films: Episode 156- "Gingerdead Man," Episodes 164 & 165- "Puppet Master I" and "II," Episode 171- "Ghoulies" and Episode 186- "Tourist Trap."

In this week's episode, we're discussing a 3D movie that neither of us watched in 3D-- the 2009 remake of the Canadian slasher classic "My Bloody Valentine." Special topics for your consideration include: Dean Winchester (so much Dean Winchester), good hair and bad police work, Tom Atkins: why do you make us feel?, places where you should not wear high heels and a very thin plot.

Are you a fan of "Supernatural"? Check out the episode we did about "House of Wax" (Episode 118) featuring costar Jared Padalecki.

Heyyyy kids! (to be read in the Binky the Clown from "Garfield" voice, you guys know that one, right?) Anyway, we're doing a clown movie. And it's dark. This week we're discussing the 2017 Halloween-themed killer clown (klown? No, it's clown) film "Terrifier," currently available on Netflix. Special topics for your consideration include: the return of our Don vs. Dawn conundrum, sexy costumes and our joint Halloween costume, pizza tips, traffic etiquette and, oddly enough, the Lunachicks.

Do you like clown movies? Of course you do! Check out our previous clowns-behaving-badly films, Episode 3- "Stitches," Episode 97- "IT" (the 1990 TV film) and Episode 140- "Killer Klowns from Outer Space." Honorable mentions go to Episode 175- "House of 1000 Corpses" and Episode 194- "Santa Sangre" just for the weird clown cameos.

My god, do we love this piece of shit movie. Sorry to spoil it for you, but we do. This week we're discussing a pick of our own: the 1983 film "Mausoleum," finally available for streaming (on Amazon). Special topics for your consideration include: hair talk, the advent of Julie Christy season, a quick biography of Marjoe Gortner and his magnificent terrible name, a diatribe on dancing, a Mausoleum confession and the poor titty bell, working overtime.

Do you love ridiculously bad 80s movies? May we also recommend Episode 1- "Warlock," Episode 2- "Without Warning" (what were we doing??), Episode 25- "The Pit," Episode 35- "Neon Maniacs," or Episode 79- "Prince of Darkness."
